At ImagePak Marketing, we have been supplying customised silicone wristbands to Perth since before they became popular. Custom silicone wristbands have become a “must” for Perth charity events, but there are a lot more uses for them. Here are a few ideas, including one or two for charity events.
Cancer Bracelets
We all know the Livestrong wristband started the whole wristband craze. We also know that Livestrong has fallen out of favour due to founder Lance Armstrong being stripped of his Tour de France victories. But that doesn’t stop us from wishing our cancer victims well.
And it doesn’t stop thousands of people from wearing silicone wristbands across Australia that support cancer victims.
Some examples: “Fight Like a Girl.” “Hope.” Sometimes there is just the ribbon symbol.
Religious Bracelets
Silicone wristbands are perfect for displaying a religious message. They are visible and can start a conversation. There are perennial favourites such as “WWJD” or “John 3:16.” A simple cross or a word such as “pray” or “believe” is simple, to the point and effective.
School Wristbands
These make great bracelets for sports fans. The school name with the mascot name in the school colours makes for a popular item. It works especially well if there is a lot of school spirit or the teams are doing well. Different sports can have their own bracelets, as can school clubs. Graduation wristbands are exceedingly popular.
Medical Alert Bracelets
These are great for doctor’s offices to give to patients. They can denote allergies, diseases such as diabetes, heart conditions or many other conditions. A peanut allergy bracelet can be the difference between life and death if a person goes into anaphylactic shock. An epilepsy bracelet can also be a lifesaver if a person is having a seizure.
Awareness Bracelets
Silicone wristbands can be used to promote or bring awareness to virtually any cause. Anti-bullying campaigns are one great example.
