Large reusable face mask which provides protection with two layers of blended 150gsm cotton/spandex and an additional outer layer of blended 170gsm polyester/spandex. The mask is easily reused by hand washing it in warm water.

THE NAIDOC 2022 – PAINTING (Get UP, Stand UP, Show Up.)

Art description: Theme for NAIDOC is Get UP, Stand UP, Show UP.. My artwork is about Indigenous people of Australia.. The green represents the Indigenous Nations of the Rainforest, wheatbelt and Suburban area, Yellow and reds represent the Indigenous Nations of the Goldfields and the edge of the Desert, the browns and gold represents the Indigenous Desert Nations,  the blues represent the Torres Strait  islands, lakes, rivers and the Indigenous Nations of the coastal  areas. With black circles are representatives of the Indigenous communities around Australia all connected to rach other as one.

The NAIDOC theme is about 60,000yrs of Getting up, standing up and showing up of us working hard, standing up for our rights, our land, our values and our people. Showing up and being there for ourselves and supporting each other..

Artist – Kevin Bynder (Whadjuk-Yuet-Balaadong man from his mother and a Badamia Yamatji from his father)
Kevin grew up the northern suburb of Girrawheen in Perth and currently works as the artist in residence at Yagan Square in Perth.
