We have built our reputation mostly on promotional items since we started in 1979. But did you know we offer T-shirt printing, too? A lot of Perth businesses have taken advantage of T-shirt printing to promote their businesses in a lot of clever ways. Here are some of the ways businesses leverage T-shirts as a promotional item.
Promotional Giveaway Item
T-shirts are a great promotional giveaway item under the right circumstances. We know they are more expensive than a stubby holder and not appropriate for a formal office. But that leaves a lot of other great situations where giving away T-shirts is a great strategy.
Special Sales and Events
T-shirts are great for “first day” promotions. Gamers love the idea that the first fifty people who purchase a game are going to get a free T-shirt. It works well for movies, too. This strategy can easily be used by smaller businesses, too. A grand opening of a new store or restaurant is a great time to give away T-shirts and stimulate interest. T-Shirts are also a great way to promote events such as conferences or retreats.
Employee Incentives
T-shirts make great employee incentives. They can also be customised for work “teams” or special projects. They can be souvenirs for outings such as the annual Christmas party or the company picnic. Any time an employer gives t-shirts to its employees, the employees feel grateful to their employer and prouder of their place of employment.
“Goody Bags”
T-shirts can be given away as part of a “goody bag” at a golf tournament or other promotional gathering. For example, many trade shows are appropriate for T-shirts. We don’t recommend giving away 1,000 shirts at a trade show, but they can be used for a special incentive for preferred customers.
Employee Uniforms
At a casual business, a customised T-shirt may be a perfect uniform top. Businesses that appeal to teens and younger adults, such as game shops, surf shops or casual restaurants near the beach, may find T-shirts to be the perfect employee uniform. Miniature golf courses or skate parks are also great for T-shirts as uniforms.
Souvenirs
We love the idea of selling T-shirts as souvenirs. There are a couple of ways to go about this. The first is straight retail: coming up with a nice design for a shirt that says, “Perth, Western Australia” and selling it to tourists or proud locals.
But the second way is one of our favourites: designing a T-shirt for your business and selling it. This is exciting to us, because it means that people are paying you for the privilege of advertising your business for you. This works extremely well for pubs and restaurants, especially in tourist areas.
The most important thing to get right is the design. Our favourite T-shirts are pub or bar shirts with clever sayings on them. If you can come up with a great logo that relates to your business and back it up with a clever saying or joke, it can sell you hundreds or even thousands of shirts over a few years’ time.
If you don’t want to come up with a clever joke, you can concentrate on making your T-shirt look as eye-catching and attractive as possible. A beautiful water scene is a great souvenir for a beachside establishment.
Casual Sport Uniforms
If you play a recreational sport and don’t want to have a formal uniform, a T-shirt can be a great compromise. You get the fun of wearing a uniform but it is less expensive.
Call ImagePak Marketing
For our T-shirt printing, we use a process called “sublimation.” We dye the design right into the fabric. We have full colour printing, so we can print photographs on your T-shirts if you like. We can turn nearly any design idea you have into a finished product and put it on your T-shirts.
We only have a minimum order of 10 shirts and we can get them to you in 4-6 weeks. To learn more or to place an order, call us today: (08) 92444 111.
