As one of the foremost providers of promotional products in Perth, we like to keep an eye on what people are doing with promotional products in other parts of Australia and even across the world. Here are five brilliant campaigns that may help you think up your own creative promotions.
Fake Car Scratches
An insurance company in the Netherlands printed fake car scratches on static paper, then put them on cars. The paper had the name and number of the insurance company, with a message that said, “We repair damages as easily as you remove this sticker.” It may lose a bit in the translation, but you get the idea.
Frisbees Disguised as Barbell Weights
Iams Australia used frisbees disguised as barbell weights to send the message that their food makes your dog stronger. Not only did the dog owners with the frisbees get the message, but so did park patrons who watched the owner play frisbee with their dogs.
Door to Door Cockroach “Flyers”
A pest control firm used plastic cockroaches instead of flyers and stuck them under people’s doors. On the underbelly of the “cockroach” was the message, “See how easy it is to get in your house?” With, of course, the company’s name and phone number.
Alzheimer’s Erasers
Alzheimer’s New Zealand passed out hollow erasers with flash drives on the inside. The message read, “Alzheimer’s Erasers. Your memories. Save them.” Poignant and memorable.
Personalised Rubber Ducks
A US firm that sells promotional items sent twelve rubber ducks personalised with their name and logo. Inside was a note that said, “Ready to get your ducks in a row?”
